Voyage is a health and social care company which supports people with learning disabilities and other complex needs to fulfill their potential to lead ordinary lives within the community. Voyage has a range of care and support solutions for people with a variety of specialist needs including Learning Disability, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Physical Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, Neurological Impairments and Mental Health.

Voyage has stated that it is committed to supporting employees’ ongoing learning, training and development. The contract with NES is relatively new, with delivery starting in March 2008. In June 2008 the company’s Chief Executive Douglas Quinn made signed the Skills Pledge. This resulted in the decision to re-locate the Development centre from Taunton to the Group Support in Lichfield and also to increase resources to enable the centre to fully meet the needs of the business and the Skills Pledge commitment.
