Barchester’s Excellence in Training success

Barchester Healthcare’s learning and development has won an accolade at the prestigious Laing and Buisson Independent Healthcare Awards.

Terry Tucker, Mark Kite and team celebrate their awards success

Barchester’s team won their award in the Excellence in Training.category and were presented with their trophy by comedian Sandi Toksvig.

The Independent Healthcare Awards highlight the range of achievement within the independent health and care sector and pay tribute to those individuals and teams that have demonstrated excellence in their particular fields.

Terry Tucker, Barchester’s Director of Learning and Development, said: “I’m delighted we’ve been recognised for our commitment to training. Barchester offers staff a variety of apprenticeships and leadership programmes. Our Chef Academy is thriving and our latest initative, the Barchester Business School accredits a range of workbased qualifications – not only certificates and diplomas but also Bachelors and Masters in Management.”
