Chris Banks, LSC Chairman has been tasked with reviewing the skills funding system to see how it can be improved.
Speaking following the Skills Dialogue Group Skills Summit, Chris Banks commended the investment in training and skills has been maintained by employers who invest a huge amount in training their staff through the economic downturn.
The review aims to discover who is paying for what, whether the current distribution is working and whether there are opportunities for more co-investment.
