Workforce Development Awards 2010

Posted on 01 December 2009

The National Employer Service Workforce Development Awards 2010 are open for entry. The awards recognise the best in training, celebrating employers who have developed innovative training programmes and learners who have excelled in work-based learning. Make sure you get your entry in before the closing date - 26 February.

Bringing a focus to the success that is already being achieved by individuals and their employers in apprenticeships and other accredited training, the awards also describe how this has been achieved, through collaboration, innovation and co-investment by employers, learners and government.

This year we have introduced new categories to reflect an increased focus on measuring the return on investment of training and the importance of integrating employment and skills to give those most in need access to sustainable jobs.

We are also inviting entries in some categories from employers rather than individual learners. As always, however, it is the stories of individual success that will be at the heart of the entries.

The NES Workforce Development Awards celebrate the best of the best. Entries can be made quickly and easily online at workforcedevelopmentawards.org.uk

Enter today so your efforts and dedication can be publicly recognised and celebrated. Closing date for entries is 26 February.

I’m delighted to announce the launch of the National Employer Service Workforce Development Awards 2010. Every year our awards celebrate the achievements of learners, employers and government working and investing together to develop the skills that underpin our economy.
