What we do

Integrating Employment & Skills

Integrating Employment and Skills (IES) is about bringing existing services together to provide employers with a simpler range of advice, support and training to recruit and retain unemployed people and help them progress and achieve accredited qualifications.

It does this by bringing employment and skills services closely together with NES working with Jobcentre Plus’s (JCP) National Sales Team (NST) to deliver a joint account management service to national employers.

This simpler service directly benefits employers who are recruiting as these new people can be recruited through Jobcentre Plus and trained under an NES contract.

Employers who are reducing their workforce can also use the joint service to provide training support to staff who are leaving via upskilling and re-deployment in line with local labour market intelligence.
