Jobcentre Plus

NES works in tandem with Jobcentre Plus (JCP) and large employers to develop joint strategies to provide further training once people are in jobs to ensure that they stay in work and progress (through Train to Gain or apprenticeship programmes).

JCP offers employers modern and efficient vacancy advertising, recruitment and redundancy services that:

• make it easier for potentially suitable applicants to make contact with employers
• provide encouragement and advice to employers and enable workers to remain in continuous employment, with the appropriate skills and support
• deliver a joined-up employment and skills service, ensuring signposting or handovers to other services/providers whenever appropriate.
