Work with NES

Criteria

NES offers a specialised service to the UK's largest employers. Check the criteria below to see at-a-glance if your organisation could have a contract with us.

  • 1. Do you employ more than 5000 people at more than one site in the UK?

NES currently works specifically with the UK’s largest national employers. If you employ fewer than 5000 people, a Business Link Adviser may be able to help. If your business only operates at one site you should be able to get the support you need from your local LSC regional office.

  • 2.Does your company support workforce development at a senior level?

We find that embedding training into an organisation works best if there is a commitment from the CEO and HR Director. Your CEO will need to sign your proposal document before you can proceed with your application for NES funding. Find out more about our route to contract.

  • 3. Do you have ambitious plans for developing your workforce?

In order to hold a direct funding contract with NES, you need to be planning to train a significant proportion of your workforce. This should be a minimum of 200 learners per year, rising to 10% of your workforce, or around 1000 learners a year, within the first three years of the contract.
